L' Étable de Bethléem (The Stable of Bethlehem), a vintage sheet by the French L' Imagerie Epinal, features surprisingly sophisticated construction if rather simple artwork. But who cares? The finished effect—with festooned Gothic arches, a slopping roof, and finished construction inside and out—is wonderful.
