That leafy agave plant, that double stone arch, those curlicued carved columns, all that ivy! It's a palatial setting for the Nativity, which unfolds below a bright Star of Bethlehem which has come to rest on the roof. Aware that paper stars are especially fragile, this five-pointed one is attached to the front by a paper band. So that, if a mishap happens, all you need do is turn on your printer.

At first glance it seems as though you're seeing double. Don't Baroque Miniature Nativities 1 & 2 look almost identical? Both are set in the same elaborate Baroque proscenium festooned with red fabric and decorated with urns, scrolls, and angels. And both Nativity scnenes unfold under a myriad stars. But that's where the similarities end. The differences? In the Star of Bethlehem; the Adoration of the Magi and the Adoration of the Shepherds; in the Christmas message that appears in fancy script in the scroll of the front, "Gloria," and "Peace;" and in the mirror image of the proscenium in Nativity 2, which adds yet another variation to this Baroque extravaganza. I love seeing them hanging by a gold cord from my Miniature Crèche Tree. But if you wish to display them, instead, you may do so, by attaching a small tab to the wrong side of the front that acts as a stand.
