Dome Miniature Nativity Sheet
The Dome Nativity Sheet with its lovely art and simple construction — just three pieces create a marvelous 3-D effect — will make a wonderful addition to your collection.
Seemingly tumbling down on the beam of the six-pointed Bethlehem Star, four little angels hover above, in front of a spherical middle-Easter dome.
Below, under two elaborately decorated arches, is pictured the Nativity.
On the left stands Joseph and a Magi kneels.On the right, two Kings of the East stand in front of the Mother and Child. The requisite ass looks on from behind a wall pierced by a window decorated with red cellophane.
At the front, a Shepherd and his son approach, while their sheep rest and graze.
The vintage original of this Dome Nativity Sheet measures a large 18 x 13 inches when flat. The Dome Nativity Sheet was scaled down to 9.5 x 8 inches, creating a 7.5 x 8 x 4.25 inch crèche when assembled.
The inspiration for two miniature sheets
The Dome Nativity Sheet inspired Dome Miniature Nativity 1 Sheet — featuring the Adoration of the Magi, and Dome Miniature Nativity 2 Sheet — featuring the Adoration of the Shepherds.
Dome Miniature Nativity 2 Sheet also features a 3-D roof that adds a nice touch to this variation. |
